Rich People....Poor People

Time away from work for HARI RAYA has provided me with some time to do some personal reading for life enrichment. This is something that I really like to share with my readers here at this blog. Life is indeed a journey. Its destination and how soon you are going to reach it all depends on yourself entirely. If you say you want to become like Bill Gates (which is your chosen final destination), you should set your mindset to become one. Through the right psychological mindset, everything should be programmed accordingly. This includes the urge to change things such as your attitude, the way you do things as well as making planning to make sure things are happening. The faster you carry out the changes, the quicker you will get to your destination.I related what I read to my sister and several others. Some listened with great intent but after that started playing a negative victim game. They kept coming up with excuses.. “Oh I can’t do this because I don’t know how to”, “are you sure?”, “I am too old to do anything”. How often you have heard these kinds of excuses? Sounds familiar right? The thing is, people would like to change their lives but simply refuse to change their attitude or mindset. That’s why poor people stay poor, and rich people gets richer. Rich People are busy making money, Poor People are simply busy making excuses, thus no action to change their lives!Do you know what book that I read. It’s a book by T Harv Eker, called Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.
“Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” covers 17 ways rich people think and act differently from everyone else. It also includes a multitude of principles. Here are some of the principles from the book:

1. Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe, “Life happens to me.”
2. Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
3. Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.
4. Rich people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems.
5. Rich people act in spite of fear. Poor people let fear stop them.
6. Rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think they already know.
